Windows and Linux users FW update Installation
- Download the latest Firmware for the FLOW 3D printers at https://craftbot.com/firmware
- Copy CRAFT_UPDATE.ZIP to a FAT32 formatted usb drive (The name should be the same as “CRAFT_UPDATE.ZIP” without any space or numbers)
- If a usb cable is connected to the printer’s side, disconnect it
- Put the pendrive in to the HMI port
- Wait for the pendrive icon appear on the top right corner of the screen
- Go to SETTINGS and then UPGRADE menu
- Press the RESCAN button until UPDATE FROM PENDRIVE appears
- Tap the UPDATE FROM PENDRIVE to start the update process
- Update is automatic, when it is ready, click on the UPDATE FINISHED OK button
MAC users
Please ensure you disable the automatic extraction of ZIP files in SAFARI browsers

Please note that even if you delete the old update file from the pen drive and add a new one, Mac computers will still keep a hidden copy in the trash folder, the Craftbot printers can find this hidden file and will not update as it sees multiple update files, In order to delete this hidden file do as following:
- Show the hidden files, you can use the short cut (Command+Shift+Dot (“.”)
- Open the .Trashes/trash and delete all files inside it
Troubleshooting:
If the FW update run into error, please do the following:
- Turn off the printer
- If a usb cable is connected to the printer’s side, disconnect it
- With a piece of filament push and hold the reset button (a little hole under the ethernet port)
- Turn on the printer and wait at least 5 seconds
- Release the button
- Turn off then on the printer again
- Install the FW as above
