Slow performance and critical error when slicing model
Quote from Matthew Ickstadt on 2022-01-31, 19:03I had some issues slicing the attached STL file, probably due to some non-manifold faces, etc. I imported the STL into cura and exported it as a 3MF, also attached (renamed to .3mf.stl due to forum upload restrictions).
When the 3MF is imported into CraftWare Pro, the app becomes very unresponsive. Attempting to slice never completes. One time it popped up an error dialog, so I attached the error logs as well. I would attach the error dump but it's 0 bytes.

Sorry for the delay!
Yes, it is non-manifold.
When you open it using CraftWare Pro, you'll see on the CAD page that in the tree view, under the model there is a "Contours (79966)" item. This means that the program found 79966 holes in the model. That is a lot! 🙂
It is not advised to use an object with this much non-manifold errors, it should be fixed. I've tried using the "Contour Filler" tool in CraftWare Pro, but it seems that this is far too much for it too.
I'd advise using a mesh fixing tool, like MeshLab.
But of course CraftWare Pro should not be so unresponsive or fail to slice even in extreme cases, also it seems to be a tough model for our "Contour Filler" as well, so I've added a bug report about this.
