Printing stops after a random time
Quote from Gabor Erki on 2023-12-28, 18:28I've been using a craftbot plus printer for a while and I recently broke the USB connector. Since then, I have been printing with the current version of Craftprint, but during longer projects, the printing usually stops somewhere.
Tried from different computers, same result. The task is deleted from Craftprint and the head stops where it is.Thank you in advance for your help

It sounds like the USB connector issue may be causing unstable communication during long prints — I’d recommend either replacing the broken USB port or switching to printing from a USB drive or SD card (if supported), as that often provides a more stable connection for longer jobs.

The issue is likely caused by the broken USB connector causing intermittent disconnections. When the connection drops, Craftprint deletes the task, and the printer stops. Try using Wi-Fi or Ethernet if supported, or replace the USB connector. Also, disable USB power-saving settings on your computer and ensure Craftprint and the printer firmware are up to date.
