Prime Pillar not used for last head change

Hi

When the reason last head change in the print occurs, priming on the pillar is skipped.

This can be seen in the images below; I have stacked 3 cuboids, 1 and 3 are printed with head 1, 2 with head 2:

The generated pillar ends with head 2, even though head 1 is used for the last bit of the print.

Same here:

After head 1 finishes it's last bit of work (top layer of the floating cuboid), head 2 starts printing directly onto the white cuboid without priming.

Follow up question: Is there a parameter to extrude some filament and use the nozzle wiper (for a CraftBot Flow IDEX) when switching to another print head? The prime pillar alone doesn't really allow for dual material printing as the filament won't stick to it immediately.

Hi Stefan,

The Pillar is automatically skipping the unnecessary layers at the top, but as I see it skipped one layer too much for you.
I'll reproduce this, and create a fix for it.

Thank you for reporting this bug!

Ah, the follow-up question is I believe what we've talked about via support. That feature is on its way. 😉

Regards,
Norbert
