New version released: 1.1.0
Quote from Magori Andras on 2021-10-08, 20:17Hello Everyone!
In the last months we retired to our developer den, but we continued restlessly improve the software.
- Big changes came regarding the settings, and the slicing workflow. Wizzards, template-instance system, new settings file format, just to mention a few.
Every Printer, Bed, Extruder, and Filament (aka. Machine Components) can interfere with the slicing profile and the strategies. This way, if the Machine Components are tuned right, it is possible to easily set up your printing environment and have a great result without even touching the slicer settings. E.g.:
- The printer can determine if it likes the ZHop or not, what is the max travel feedrate or the minimum layer thickness used by the Adaptive Layer Thickness algorithm
- The extruder gives the nozzle settings, and also can interfere with the retract settings
- The filament can tell the fan, temperature, speed, retract, travel, settings or even the support interface distance settings.
- This is our first Mac release for the CraftWare Pro. A lot of work was put into this development, we hope that everybody can get the same quality on a Mac too. Now it's our time to give a little focus for the Linux version, so stay tuned!
- In this release one of our main priorities was to improve the learning curve of the software. Many tools, feedbacks, descriptions were introduced to help you understand the software better, and we believe if you get used to it, it will give you unique flexibility and ease of use at the same time.
In the future you can expect more frequent updates as we planned originally.
We would like to thank all of you who are using the software and giving us valuable feedbacks!
