Moving Extruder issue, in X direction
Quote from Gijs BB on 2022-02-01, 14:00My Craftbot has issues which results into layer shifts when printing. I narrowed it down to when the extruder is directed to move in X direction it combines its movement with an additional (unregistered) Y movement. Meaning when I move it from the home position toward the right it also moves toward the back (diagonal) and when moving to the left it also moves forward (diagonal). This move is not registered and so it doesn't realize the extruder is in its new backward position and print the next layer more backward. When moving over Y alone it moves smoothly, as expected.
This only seems to occur on the most left part of the built plate, when coming to more to the right side of the built plate (and more backward due to this issue) it functions as normal.
Has anyone seen this problem before, or knows how to fix it? I already tried replacing the left electro motor but this resulted in the same issues. (not yet tried to replace the right electro motor but I’m not sure the problem is in this part).
In the added picture the movement is described with arrows, the movement when performing an unwanted addition direction is sounding disturbed and is a bit vibrating
