Manufacturing view: Visual Artifacts

I see some visual artifacts in the manifacturing view. They are gone when turning the view upside-down, looking at the bottom.

Yep, that is there unfortunately.
The selection outline where it touches the bed it looks like that. Also the transparent things are drawn onto this line which can look weird.

It is on the todo list, but there are several more pressing things which need to be fixed first.

I've been looking into this in my free time, and had a partial success with removing it.

Eventually this will be dealt with.
