How to offset build platform

Hey I have an original kickstarter Craftbot, and I tried printing something with this but the bed height was off by around 1mm. Is there an easy way to just adjust it in the slicer?

Hi Daniel,

Normally the bed should be adjusted on the printer to be leveled correcly, so Z=0mm should mean the surface.
Leveling the bed in the printer is the best way to get this sorted out.

If you'd still like to adjust this from the GCode, you can do that.

In CraftWare Pro, you can do it for example in the Default strategy's "Base Parameters" section like this:
- Click on the "chain in a black circle" icon next to its name.
- In the Binding Manager popup window type "adjust" in the filter, so it will only show the parameter you need, and then click on its checkbox.
- Exit the popup window, and open the "Base Parameters" section, where you'll see the "Height adjust" parameter added to the list.
- By setting it to "1.0", the resulting GCode will be 1mm higher.

Norbert

Yeah thanks, I have a custom build plate which makes normal leveling hard. This looks like it should work, thanks.
