Dear Manfred,

Can you please upload your model file to help us reproduce the problem? If you don't want to share your model publicly, you can fill a support ticket as well!

Hello Andràs

It makes no sense that I upload a model because the slicer does not slice a single model ... I still attach the specifications of my PC ...

Hi Manfred,

András asked for the model so we could try reproducing your problem by creating the exact same circumstances.

There are several things which could cause an empty GCode after slice:

  • Something wrong with the model's geometry.
Looking at your screenshot it should not cause any problem to the slicer, that's basically something like a cube and a tube.
Asking for the actual stl file of it is "just in case", to completely rule out this scenario.
  • Something with the slicing parameters.
Can you show us which strategy you used, and what parameters did you set for it?
  • Some bug in the slicer engine.
Don't know if it is a bug until we rule out everything else.

Regards,
Norbert

Hi Manfred,

schau mal unter "Manufacturing" nach der gewählten "Role" für dein Modell. Dazu Rechtsklick auf's Modell, "Role". Ist es vielleicht "Pillar"? Stell es um auf "Perimeter" und slice noch mal.

(look under "Manufacturing" for the selected "Role" for your model. Right-click on the model and select "Role". Is it perhaps "Pillar"? Change it to "Perimeter" and slice again.)

Hi Norbert...

Here is the model... I have the Problem with EVERY model... And in addition, some models are called invalid and cannot be loaded at all ... But they work in craftware ...

Danke, hab ich nachgeschaut... Ist auf Perimeter, so wie es sein soll...

Hi Manfred,

Sorry for the late reply!

The problem why CraftWare Pro calls some models invalid is because of a bug: ASCII STL files for some reason are found invalid by CraftWare Pro.
The fix for this bug will be in the next release.
Until then, you can load the model in an external program, and save it as OBJ, or as binary STL.

Getting back to the main problem:

If every model results in an empty GCode and the models have "Perimeter" Role as they should, that means it is a slicer setting problem.
You can try resetting to factory settings, and then try doing a slice.

Norbert

Thanks for the reply! OK I have most of my Fusion 360 designs saved in ASCII STL... But if the bug is fixed soon, it's not so bad... Meanwhile, Craftware Pro is running on my PC as I have reinstalled Windows 10...

I have another question... Why is there no Babystep (real-time Z adjustment) in the Craftbot Flow IDEX ??!! Any cheap China printer can do that!! Please, please, please with sugar on top!! Implements this function immediately in the firmware!!

I've moved this thread to the Craftbot section, as it is a Firmware-related request.
