Craftbot Plus Extruder - Lever no longer tensioning

I hope someone can help me figure this out. I had to disassemble the extruder assembly and when I put it back together the tensioning lever no longer is functioning to increase tension on the roller -- and the tension is not sufficient to feed filament. I assume I did something wrong in the re-assembly but I haven't been able to find any examples of an exploded parts diagram or other info on how to properly reassemble it.

I'd be grateful for any suggestion on what I might have done wrong and/or a photo or video of it being assembled properly!

Make sure that the spring mechanism is properly seated and not misplaced. Sometimes, the spring can be misaligned during reassembly.

Drift Boss

Check if the spring is anchored at both ends — usually one end sits in a hole or notch in the housing and the other in the lever. You may need to preload the spring slightly by rotating the lever while seating it.

I’ve been in a similar spot before—extruder assemblies can be tricky to reassemble just right. It sounds like the spring or tension arm might not be seated correctly or is missing some resistance due to a misalignment. Double-check that the spring is properly compressed between the lever and the base, and that the arm pivots cleanly against the roller. If you can, post a photo—sometimes a second pair of eyes helps spot what’s out of place. Hope you get it feeding smoothly again soon!

Having extruder tension issues after reassembly is frustrating! It sounds like a key component might be misaligned. Like planning your strategy in Pokerogue , a clear understanding of the mechanics is crucial. Maybe double-check the spring placement and lever arm engagement. Think of it like building your perfect Pokerogue Dex – every piece needs to be in the right place for it to work! Seeking exploded diagrams could save your print.
