Introduction

For better visualizing the GCode output, we are coloring the segments based on the selected criterion. This function works with the legends turned on.

Segment type

Each segment type has its own color code.

Extrusion width

Coloring by extrusion width, shows how wide each segment type is.

Extrusion thickness

Coloring by extrusion thickness is better visualized from the side or front views. You can see that this sphere requires finer resolutions at overhangs or terraces. The slicer engine will automatically adapt the extrusion thicknesses where required in order to avoid using support structures.

Speed

Coloring by print speed.

Extrusion rate

Coloring by extrusion speed.

Fan speed

Fan speed in percents.

Temperature

Coloring by temperature.

Head

Coloring by head will color the segments by the color of the filament assigned to the actual printhead.
