Introduction

A pillar object is useful during dual print's head change. It provides a place where the nozzle can be wiped in order to avoid carrying oozing filament onto the printed object. The pillar tool will automatically generate a default cylinder pillar object which has the same height as your tallest object on a given build tray.

Pillar role

Any model can be a pillar object, you just have to change its role in the tree view item's context menu.
