Introduction
Smart Strategy is a Strategy especially aiming the beginner users. By only specifying the requirements against the printing result, the CraftWare Pro generates the proper set of parameters under the hood. There is no need for domain specific knowledge or extended 3D printing experience. It is capable to create the most suitable results without any understanding of the 3D printing process.
Speed vs Quality
With the first slider you can continuously prioritize between the printing speed and the quality of the result.
- If you want to save time and get results faster, move the slider closer to the left side. Choosing faster printing usually results in some quality trade-offs.
- If you want finer details and less printing artefacts on the surface of the object, move the slider towards the right side. Prioritizing on quality increases the printing time
Economy vs Strength
With the second slider you can continuously prioritize between the filament consumption and the mechanical strength of the result.
- If you want to save filament get a lighter result, move the slider closer to the left side. Choosing to save filament also reduces printing time, but sometimes comes with minor compromises on the printing quality.
- If you want stronger object, move the slider towards the right side. It increases the mechanical properties, but often increases the printing time too.
Other properties
You can also enable automatic support generation, if you don't want to do it manually, or disable it if you don't need automatic supports.
