Introduction
One of the most important step while configuring the slicing process in the Prepare Page is to specify the orientation and the position of the printed objects.
The arrangement has great effect on:
- Printing Time
- Result's quality
- Need of supports
- Building Plate adhesion
- Even the success of the print
Fully Automatic Arrangement
By default CraftWare Pro Utilizes a Fully Automatic Arrangement concept. This means that switching to the Prepare Page and adding/removing an object will trigger an automatic arrangement. This will save you time and help you to achieve an automatic optimal centered arrangement. You can confirm if the Fully Automatic Arrangement is on, if the Printer has an [A] postfix after its name in the Treeview.
Manual Orientation and Arrangement
By using the CraftWare Pro's extended set of transformation tools, you can manually transform (translate, rotate, scale, mirror) your objects to orient and place them as you need. Every use of a Transformation Tool turns off the Fully Automatic Arrangement.
Automatic Orientation and Arrangement
CraftWare Pro offers an Automatic Orientation Tool. By clicking the Calculate button it analyses the model's geometry and determines the most optimal orientation taking account on the support need and build plate connection.
Arrange Objects Tool provides one click automatic arrangement. It tries to fit all your objects on the center of the build plate close to each other. If there are too many objects and you are using Premium License it tries to arrange them on different Tray(s).
