Introduction
The Printer Configurator helps you to easily change the Printing environment. Simply select the target printer, printer components, and used filament(s).
Next to every Machine Component's label, you can find a cogwheel button which opens the Settings at the corresponding page.
Printer Selector
You can select which printer to use from the previously configured printer instance list.
This list populates all of your printers that you instantiated in the Printer Settings
Printing Mode
Every printer can offer various printing modes. They can be special modes that alters the basic behaviour of the active printer like
- Stealth modes
- Fast modes
- FMS modes
- Special dual modes
- Parallel mode
- Mirror mode
- Backup mode
Bed Selector
If you have more than one Bed configured for your printer you can switch between them.
Head Configurator
With the help of the head configurator you can access each head's configuration, and have a visual feedback, on the used filaments.
Extruder Selector
If you have more than one Extruder even with different Nozzle Diameters configured for your printer you can switch between them.
Filament
You can select which Filament(s) are loaded in the head(s). The selected filament influences the slicing behaviour greatly. It determines the printing temperatures, fan settings, speeds, travel parameters, and can have effect on every aspect of the generated toolpath.
