Introduction

Expert Strategies are Strategies especially aiming the advanced users. You can access more than 24000 parameters via a dynamically constructed User Interface that can be tailored flexibly for your needs. It gives you a full depth control over the slicing process

Overrides

Loop Override

A strategy is basically a set of Overrides. It specifies cases when some of the base slicing parameters should be overridden to a particular value (e.g. the drawing speed should be reduced while printing the Perimeter).

You can create, edit and remove Overrides as per your needs.

Condition

Every Override has Condition(s). It determines when to trigger the Override and apply the value changes. (e.g. on the First Layer or while printing the Perimeter, etc.)

You can add, edit and remove Conditions as per your needs with the help of the Condition Manager.

Bindings

Every Override should have least one Binding. It determines what slicing parameter to override and to what value. (e.g. the Drawing Speed should be 60 mm/s or the Extrusion Width should be 100% of the Nozzle Diameter)

Two kinds of Bindings are available currently in the application:

• Constant Binding sets the selected parameter to a specified constant value.
  

  Constant Value Binding
• Linear Binding sets the selected parameter to a factor of another parameter or of a Printing State.
  

  Linear Value Binding

You can add, edit and remove Bindings as per your needs with the help of the Binding Manager.
