== Introduction ==

[[Expert Strategies]] are [[Manual/SlicerSystem/Strategies|Strategies]] especially aiming the advanced users. You can access more than 24000 parameters via a dynamically constructed User Interface that can be tailored flexibly for your needs. It gives you a full depth control over the slicing process

== [[Overrides]] ==

A strategy is basically a set of [[Overrides]]. It specifies cases when some of the base slicing parameters should be overridden to a particular value (e.g. the drawing speed should be reduced while printing the Perimeter).

You can create, edit and remove [[Overrides]] as per your needs.

=== [[Manual/SlicerSystem/Conditions|Condition]] ===

Every [[Manual/SlicerSystem/Overrides|Override]] has [[Manual/SlicerSystem/Conditions|Condition(s)]]. It determines when to trigger the [[Manual/SlicerSystem/Overrides|Override]] and apply the value changes. (e.g. on the ''First Layer'' or while printing the ''Perimeter'', etc.)

You can add, edit and remove [[Conditions]] as per your needs with the help of the [[Condition Manager]].

=== [[Bindings]] ===

Every [[Manual/SlicerSystem/Overrides|Override]] should have least one [[Manual/SlicerSystem/Bindings|Binding]]. It determines what slicing parameter to override and to what value. (e.g. the ''Drawing Speed'' should be 60 mm/s or the ''Extrusion Width'' should be 100% of the ''Nozzle Diameter'')

Two kinds of [[Bindings]] are available currently in the application:

* [[Manual/SlicerSystem/Bindings/ConstantBindings|Constant Binding]] sets the selected parameter to a specified constant value.[[File:Constant Value Binding.png|none|thumb|Constant Value Binding]]
* [[Manual/SlicerSystem/Bindings/LinearBindings|Linear Binding]] sets the selected parameter to a factor of another parameter or of a [[Printing State]].[[File:Linear Value Binding.png|none|thumb|Linear Value Binding]]

You can add, edit and remove [[Bindings]] as per your needs with the help of the [[Binding Manager]].
